MaryEllen grew up in Pennsylvania and began dancing at the age of eight, studying all styles of dance. After graduating high school she continued her dance education by attending The University of the Arts. At University of the Arts she had the amazing opportunity of performing at Merriam and Drake Theatre under the guidance of Scott Jovovich, Matthew Neenan, Ronen Koresh, Andrew Pap, Wayne David, and many more.

MaryEllen graduated in 2006 with her BFA in Ballet performance. After graduating she joined Nashville Ballet’s Summer Intensive program. During her time their she worked with their company members learning their different pieces for their season and their teaching techniques to their younger students. After Nashville she moved back to her hometown in Pennsylvania, where she wanted to teach others the passion of dance, a feeling that has been instilled in her over her years of performance. MaryEllen has been teaching over 14 years and is very excited to be apart of our faculty and to be able to expand the world of dance through her students eyes and pass her experiences on to the future generation of dancers.
