About

Rosemary Cornwell graduated from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. While pursuing her undergraduate education, Ro was a member of Glassboro’s Gymnastics team, where she particularly enjoyed competing in floor exercise. Ro spent 12 years working for the Winslow Township, NJ School District at the Pre-K and Kindergarten levels. After taking up Jazz and Ballet as an adult, Ro went on to study Tap with the legendary Debbie Gato, with whom she continues to dance and learn. Ro’s dance experience, coupled with her background in early childhood education, has proven indispensable in introducing dance to the very youngest of students. She has taught Creative Dance and Tap for eight years and has assisted Miss Leigh in the Acrobatic Arts program for the past three years. In addition to sharing her love of dance as an instructor, Ro is an active Board Member of her family’s non-profit, Bee A Blessing. In her free time, Ro enjoys repurposing furniture, and spending lots of time playing with her two young granddaughters.
